Intermission during a period 1999 – 2003 due to Shukit Panmongkol had been selected for the curatorial assignment project; exhibition Glocal Scene of Thailand by 10 Thai artists at Edvik Art & Culture, Stockholm Sweden (please see exhibition catalogue; Obs. catalogue not available online but exhibit artists were: Monthien Boonma, Araya Rasdjarmrearnsook, Kamol Phoasavasdi, Mani Sriwanichpoom, Surasi Kusolwong, Pinaree Sanpitak, Sutee Kunavichayanont, Nipan Orraniwesna and Tawatchai Puntusawasdi). Then he led a study visit project for the third year class students from Konst Högskolan / Royal College University of Fine Arts, Stockholm visiting studios of those 10 Thai artists who participated in exhibition; Glocal Scene of Thailand. The project led to the establishment of student and academic exchange program between Konst Högskolan, Stockholm and Faculty of Fine Arts, Chiang Mai University (CMU), Chiang Mai.
He received the appointment from Faculty of Fine Arts, CMU. for a position Visiting Curator at CMU art museum/center to produce exhibitions and screening programs with Swedish and Scandinavian artists.
